From Rosh Ha Shanah to Yom Kippur the interim time is called Yomim Ha Norahyim. From the Birthday of the World to the Day of Atonement's, the time in between is called the Days of Awe. In my heritage, we do three things during that time. Tefilah, Teshuvah Veh Tzaddakah. We pray, return to our original pure states, and give charity. Why?
It is because we stand in Awe of G-d.
What ever religion, philosophy, culture or other heritage is yours, in what do you stand in awe? Why? What do you do to express this awe?
Please make your point in a manner that is on-point, positive and respectful to others. This article is not a referendum on any one religion over another, or whether religion, atheism, agnosticism, or indifference to such matters is right or wrong. Make your point without trashing other points of view. To fail to do so will mean automatic deletion of comment.
That said, in what do you stand in awe? Why? How do you express your awe. We look forward to broadening our horizons by learning from you.
Peace, Blessings and Awe Inspired Good Lives. Enoch.
